In 2009 I began Collapse, a project in which I unstitched my three-piece wedding suit and use the resulting pieces as templates in order to create meticulous replicas in alternate, nontraditional materials. These materials have ranged from burlap and tarp to Carhartt's signature rust-brown cotton duck and quilted moving blankets. I recently created a fifth suit of the series from an old trampoline. Using an industrial sewing machine and nylon thread, I have constructed a suit that actually stands on its own, assuming an eerily figurative quality.

*Special thanks to Chris Waters for donating the trampoline used in this project.
