In-Transit is part of Out in the Open at the William King Museum of Art in Abingdon, VA. The piece consists of a steel and vinyl structure designed to fit around a mature, preexisting tree. It is intended to appear as though the tree has only been temporarily planted on the WKMA grounds, highlighting the absurdity of mobility. The sculpture will be on view through July, 2018 with an opening reception on August 4th, 2016. If you're in the area, please check it out.
