 Collapse (Until Death Do Us Part)

This piece is part of a series in which I completely unstitching my three-piece wedding suit and used the resulting pieces as templates in order to create meticulous replicas. For Until Death Do Us Part, the two suits are made from natural burlap and poly-tarp material. I also composed a photograph in which two versions of myself are standing in a church, each wearing one of the two suits. The burlap and poly-tarp materials serve to represent two very different and seemingly mutually exclusive sides of my personality. *Special thanks to photographer, Seth Johns.
